Black History program at Lauren's school

Lauren had to present an inventor for their Black History program. We chose George Crum. He invented potato chips.... and we know Mama Bear and Lauren love potato chips! Thanks, George Crum :-)

Mommy's Retirement

On New Year's Day we had a small gathering at my house to celebrate my Mom's retirement. She retired on December 31st!!! . She has worked HARD ALL her life... traveled far distances to work by bus, train, car---rain, sleet, or snow... any means necessary. And we are forever grateful for the sacrifices she made for our family. I thank God she is able to retire and just enjoy life, her family, and all things that make her happy (the place... lol)!!
